Sound Church Theology College 2026

We're running the Sound Church Theology College this late September 2026, across a mix of some Tuesday evenings & Sunday afternoons throughout the year, with college open to everyone!

Within the Sound Church Theology College, we are exploring students being enrolled onto the Level 3 benchmarked NCFE ‘Award in Christian Leadership' course in partnership with Moorlands College as part of your studies, so every student graduates with certification.

As we stand on the edge of a new church;

where the Holy Spirit presides over run sheets;

where signs & wonders are everyday;

where entertainment is replaced with wholehearted worship;

where the church uses it’s voice proactively and discerningly;

where God uses artists to pour beauty and wonder into a desperate world;

where Pastors are trained & equipped to navigate trauma and diagnosis,

as we see the power of God healing the broken hearted;

where we approach God & His Kingdom with humility and confidence;

reverence and power; empathy and conviction.

College Timetable

The college timetable is designed in a way to give students enough time to work around the course. The course will run from late September to June.

Tuesday Evenings & Sunday Afternoons:

We have partnered with Moorlands College to deliver the Level 3 benchmarked NCFE ‘Award in Christian Leadership' course as part of your studies at Sound Church Theology College.

Sunday:

We have a morning service & afternoon prayer meetings which we expect students to attend & serve at.

Entry Requirements & Fees

The cost to enrol in the Sound Church Theology College is £795.

The fee contributes towards the core cost of:

• faculty & staffing

• working spaces & heating costs

• other ongoing costs throughout the year

• Student & centre fee for our partnership with Moorlands College

Entry Requirements:

Students must have a GCSE level 4 (C) in English & Maths

Life as a Student in Bath

Bath is a great city for students and young professionals with 30,000 from 3 different universities. Living both in the city, neighbourhoods near church and in villages around Bath, whilst rooms are in demand, there is plenty of option depending on your budget. Sound Church has great transport links as it is 10 minutes walk to Oldfield Park train station, a 15minute bus from the very centre of Bath & has a car park with 50 spaces.

Oldfield Park & Twerton are some of the most popular locations for students in their 2nd years onwards. If you would like to apply to live with a host family from Sound Church, please contact college@soundchurch.co.uk after submitting your application and we will discuss options based on availability.

McDonalds, Lidl, M&S and local bakeries and more are within a 5 minute walk of Sound Church so students and staff have plenty of options over lunch and for a quick walk!
